What kind of patients and coworkers does a social worker have?

do social workers have coworkers and/or patients when working with situations related to children?

  1. It depends on the type of social worker. There are several types. I have worked in Swedish Medical Center with a bunch of them. They are all very nice people and got along very well. A very special group of people.
  2. It depends in relation to children - social workers work with service users with mental health issues, disabilities and work closely with organisations such as schools, doctors, nurses, parens/guardians. police etc to provide a holistic approach to care. For social workers, they work closely with their colleagues and also have supervision with their managers to ensure that they are working within guidelines and to raise any concerns they have regarding their cases. If you have a specific question it would be easier to answer than in general terms because you could go on for a long time.
