How to stop coworkers from stealing my ideas?

I work in a 3 person team. My two coworkers are best friends. I suggest something they both put it down. Then when we meet with our supervisor, all of a sudden my idea becomes one of theirs and they get all the credit!

  1. Don't pitch ideas around them or just come up with outlandish ideas that make them look stupid and save the good ones for the spotlight. Trust me it works for me.
  2. So don't tell them. Wait till your meeting with the supervisor. Or put your idea into a memo, send it to supervisor then let your team know what you have already forwarded. Beat them at their own game
  3. bring it up the meeting for the first time with like, oh... one last idea, how about........ then your boss knows it came from you.
  4. Easy. don't tell them.
  5. 1. Email your idea to your supervisor as soon as you have it. Say something like... "wanted to give you a heads up on what I'm working on.. we can talk about it more at the meeting after I get input from the others". 2. Start working on whatever project it is. Refer to the time stamps for "Date Created" if they are computer files. 3. While doing the above, give your coworkers bad-ish ideas to chew on and then bring out what you've actually been working on in the meeting.
  6. Tell them terrible ideas and then tell your supervisor the good ideas.
  7. well...dont tell them your ideas.. wait untill your infront of your supervisor and tell him or her your self. if they dont know about it then they cant steal it.
  8. make you a sticky note to the side in folder or something so you will remember ideas and in meeting pitch your ideas if friends ask just tell them you couldn't come up with nothing and if they want to know why ever time a meeting comes up you save your ideas and lie to us tell them it hits you at the last minutes sorry
